I love teaching! Seeing a student’s eyes light up, as they first understand a new concept, is very rewarding. I am a very patient and easy-going, yet focused. I take the time to be sure a student truly understands something before we progress. I feel that instruction needs to be tailored to the student. I have successfully acquired a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Painting from Central Washington University. Last May in Seattle, I submitted and displayed my work at an art show. I am presently working on my next collection to show in the near future. My teaching style is very goal-oriented, yet flexible enough to accomodate a variety of methods. Some students learn best from lectures, other learn from visuals while some are much better at hands-on instruction and correlations/representations. Each student has boundless potential; it is up to a knowledgeable educator to help that student unlock their potential and soar.
