I am flexible to the need of the student. I experimented different techniques like plays, games, music and video. I also created my own lessons plans according to the level and desires of my students. I also entertained them with my French cuisine. When a HS student need a "crash course" in French to pass a Regent test, we went together through her text book.

At my Ivy League college, we were taught not just facts, but how to learn. This invaluable skill has stood me well and put me in an excellent position to teach. I have continued to love to learn and retained my strengths in both critical reading and in math. I recently took the SAT to demonstrate my qualification for tutoring and scored in the 98th percentile. After graduating college I taught elementary K-8th grade in NYC. I taught for one year and decided to live Paris, France teaching English. I lived in Paris, France for 1.5 years then moved to Rome, Italy, again teaching English. My experiences were wonderful as I met people who really enjoyed learning English and needed it for work.
