At the tender age of 25 I have already been admitted into the California State Bar as an attorney. I graduated from the University of California, Irvine earning my Bachelor's degree, with cum laude honors, in only 3 years. Shortly thereafter I attended Southwestern Law School where I was a member of the Trial Advocacy Honors Program. I am an excellent writer with exemplary grammatical and communication skills. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style would be that of Guided Discovery. This is a highly interactive style which leads the student to uncover the answer themselves as opposed to the teacher simply reciting the answer to them. Guided Discovery requires the student to learn by doing therefore developing necessary problem solving and deductive skills that will make them better learners and thinkers both now and in the future. I implement this style by asking leading questions, giving examples, making analagies and asking the student what they think or ask them to explain how they came upon a certain conclusion. This ensures that the desired cognitive skills and strategies are being learned.

A Little Bit About Me...

Elementary and Secondary Teacher for 27 years, in various subject areas. The last ten years, I was teaching Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra II. Experience in basic skills and developed a class in Consumer Mathematics along with other colleagues.
I have taught students using individualized, regular classroom and group setting. My last several years, I taught CPM, developed at UC, Davis; using problem-solving techniques in groups and basic computation skills in Algebra.
