My comments on tutoring Drama : As a graduate of George Washington University with Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theater and Communications, I have worked in Washington, DC area theater since 1989 as a director of both professional and student productions. While my productions have been nominated for awards, including Best Production, Best Director, Best Actor and Best New Play, I specialize in mentoring actors. In this role I have helped actors young and old prepare and perfect their monologues for local and academic auditions. I also work as an orals coach, helping business people focus on communication and presentation skills.

I work one on one, or in a group, with existing material, such as a monologue or presentation.

A Little Bit About Me...

I feel that I do my best work with Elementary age children. I like to make education fun and easily accessible. I love using games and hands on activities to teach lessons. My 5th grade teacher made such an impact on me that I have kept her on as a huge part of my life and I want to be that way with my students. I enjoy working with younger generations. I believe stimulating intelligence and creativity in younger people sometimes requires thinking outside the box.
