As a scientific researcher and future graduate student, I believe that science (Chemistry and Biology) are a pertinent are of study for students who plan to be premed, involved in healthcare, or desire to conduct innovative research. I have earned my bachelors degree in Biology, and have earned a minor in Chemistry. These studies have allowed me to take courses and gain experience in both the lecture and laboratory facets of my academic career, which has allowed me to become a very competent laboratory researcher and technician. I love one on one or small class sizes. Each child is so different in their own way and each have such a different learning style that I like to take it slow and be personal with each student. In my years of experience I have learned how to make learning fun. I love to include humor and everyday examples when I teach. Children are amazing and after all our future.

Children are amazing artists due to the fact that they don't censor themselves creatively like most adults tend to do. I teach, instilling confidence through positivity and constructive criticism. I encourage children to experiment and discover their own style. I teach the basic fundamentals as well as the techniques of painting and let the children find their own unique style. My teaching style is very goal-oriented, yet flexible enough to accomodate a variety of methods. Some students learn best from lectures, other learn from visuals while some are much better at hands-on instruction and correlations/representations.
