Learning should be a fun experience for children and adults alike, and while I maintain structure, I also want to make sure that students are enjoying the time that they spend learning with me. I am a patient teacher, and as someone who went through school with ADD, I understand the difficulties many children face in traditional classroom settings.

A Little Bit About Me...

In teaching children with learning disorders I ensure that all lessons are hands-on and learner centered. I am very patient and like to have fun with my students. My lessons are geared to ensure that all students have basic foundations to learn the essential skills needed to succeed. I also provide lessons that are multi- module so that all the senses are engaged during the lessons.
As an active researching in neuroliguistics and learning disabilities, I believe that all children, independent of disabilty, should have equal access to an education. I am currently a special education elementary resource teacher. I have a BA in Psychology and BS in Child Learning and development.
