A Little Bit About Me...

When I was in college I was introduced to an after-school program where I found a love for tutoring and working one-on-one or in small groups with children. When I graduated I taught Pre-K for a year and directed the after-school program I had volunteered at for the previous three years. When I first moved to North Carolina I became a kindergarten teacher and worked for a private tutoring company after school throughout that first year. Now I am teaching kindergarten and tutor privately after school.
I believe that children all have potential to learn and tapping into their potential is the job of the educator. The goal is finding a success level and allowing the child to experience that success while still challenging them to grow.
