If you don't like the results, I haven't done my job.

I won the state championship in the 100 meters and went to Adams State College in Alamosa CO. Broke a leg in track and received withdrawn F across the board. Left college and healed up. Went to the Army two years and reserve three years. Came back and picked up the quickest degree possiable. Moved to Hawwaii, three years. Became a ciritified dept of defense government contractor. Furnish and deliver contracts. Ended up moving back home to Albuquerque NM. I started working in the Indian Casinos for 13 years. I bought a house and retired. But now I'm tired of sitting around.

All students have a variance in their learning style but I have found a cognitive apprenticeship/constructivist approach is a good style to start with. I show the student how to accomplish a task, then we accomplish a similar task together, and finally, the student shows me how to accomplish the task, with my guidance if necessary. This way, I really learn how the student thinks and comprehends information. All students need extra help sometimes. I happen to be a guy who loves to provide that help.

I finished my lower division coursework at a california community college (AHC) and earned a total of six associate degrees. While at the community college, I administered practice test for students in MESA in mathematics (Calculus 1,2,3, and 4) while also working the maximum of 20 hours a week in the campus math lab (walk-in tutoring).
