I have been tutoring for over 8 years. I have also started youth tutoring programs since 2007. I have taught algebra, organic chemistry, physics, and other core mathematics and chemistry classes. Although I have taught in group settings, I prefer to tutor no more than three students at a time. I have taught grades from 6th grade all the way up to sophomore college level.
I use the preferences, hobbies, likes, and dislikes of the student to relate the information in which they are learning. I use examples from everyday life that helps them understand information that is applicable to everyday life.

I was a straight A student throughout school. I am currently a high school senior, so the information is still fresh in my mind. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a current high school student. I am completely and have completed Honors and AP courses in Math, Science, English, Social Studies, and Language. I have previously tutored students in my grade level, lower grade levels, higher grade levels, and even college students. I have maintained A's in a majority of my classes, except Geometry in which i recieved a B. I am very understanding and flexible in the concepts of these subjects.

I believe that children all have potential to learn and tapping into their potential is the job of the educator. The goal is finding a success level and allowing the child to experience that success while still challenging them to grow. I strongly believe that children learn by doing and therefore offer many ways for my students to explore.
When I was in college I was introduced to an after-school program where I found a love for tutoring and working one-on-one or in small groups with children. When I graduated I taught Pre-K for a year and directed the after-school program I had volunteered at for the previous three years.
