While earning my degree in earth and atmospheric science I was a tutor to underclassmen at my university in the subjects of earth science and geography. I have a firm understanding of earth science, meteorology, geography, physics and geology. As a senior, I completed extensive research in 3 upper level classes, completing a 6 credit independent study class with an A as well as two other independent study classes with A's. I love tutoring and working with children to young adults. The internet provides a lot of information but the joy of going to the library to discover new worlds, knowledge or just for the fun of it is still a worthwhile venture. I have tutored students who truly abhored reading but when we read about New York City and took them to the places of interest we studied and it truly got them excited about the next book.
