A Little Bit About Me...

I have currently worked at the Herkimer ARC for the past eight years. I have alot of experience working with people with disabilites from severe Mental Retardation, Cerebal Palsy,Autism, Learning Disability and Mental Heath. I have obtained a degree from Herkimer College in applied science with a minor in education. I also went to Mohawk Valley Community College for two years to obtain a degree in Nursing. I am a very caring open individual who loves to help people. I am looking for part time employment to start a college fun for my three year old daughter. I have years of experience training new employess at the Herkimer ARC.
I am a hands on teacher. I can verbally explain things and then i like to utilize different techniques to ensure the children understand what i am explaning. I am opening to different teaching styles because each child learns differently.

Becoming a teacher has been one of my life's passions. I have earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Adolescent Education and Mathematics and am currently working on a Master of Arts degree in Education, Curriculum, Instruction, and Mathematics. I have experience in teaching an array of mathematics classes from 7th grade Math up to Calculus and College Algebra.
