I believe everyone has their own aptitude for learning and will endeavor to discover each childs unique style for learning to help them strive to do their best in each endeavor they apply themselves to. I am a student that has a drive of excellence. I graduated from Northern Ill. Univ in 2010, as cum laude. I hold a B.S. in BioChemistry. I have experience as a tutor, which I obtained while as a student at NIU. I would tutor other students with in the chemistry, math, and biology departments.
I love teaching. I us a guiding method of teaching. Because I believe that students learn the most when they do the work themselves, but sometimes they need someone there to motivate them or to guide them in the right direction. I feel this works in group studies also, but, the difference being is that all the student will be involved in a group discussion.

I have always loved working with children and can work with children of all levels due to growing up with an autistic younger brother. His disability has taught me to be patient and open-minded with all children. I understand that all children have a different way of learning and it may take time to identify a child's learning style. I am very observant and so I can quickly pick up on how a student will learn best. I understand that some children aren't fortunate enough to have a support system to help them through school and to take time to teach them.
