My approach depends on what level of students you are dealing with; and I am good at it. I always have some tactics on how boring subjects catch the student's interest. Teaching your kid doesn't need a genius one but first it does need somebody who has the heart to make them feel that they are special and making them feel that we, parents have confidence with our kids. My teaching career has been devoted to helping individual students achieve their potential. I have taught struggling students at all grade levels. As a reading teacher, I diagnosed each student’s strengths and weaknesses. I then tailored instruction to meet each student’s needs. I have also been a Learning Disabilities teacher in a small community. This gave me the experience of teaching a wide variety of subjects to students in elementary through high school. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been working with children since I graduated from high school. I was a teachers assistant for the hearing impaired for 4 years and did some tutoring on the side for both deaf and hearing children. I attended college and received my bachelors degree in Psychology and then got a job as a teacher on an emergency credential and realized I loved teaching. When I graduated from college, I taught bilingual elementary kindergarten for 2 years on an emergency credential. I moved to Missouri in 1995 and since 1997 I have been a daycare director till recently. I enjoy seeing the pride and joy in each child when they learn something new.
