A Little Bit About Me...

Tutoring will be online and we will hold a "Session Zero" to help us get to know each other. This will give me a better understanding of how to work well with you.
I have been a tutor before in person and am used to working with young and older kids. As I am currently a Biology Major in Undergrad I believe I am a good fit to tutor anyone younger than me or around my age. I am patient and a good communicator so we have a good chance of becoming friendly which helps when learning or reinforcing new topics and ideas. I am not a qualified teacher yet but I do have experience in leadership situations, such as clubs and organizations, and am currently studying which means I am always willing to learn and help others learn so they can achieve their goals.

Portuguese tutor in northern NJ

I was born and raised in Portugal so I know the language very well and speak it fluently with friends and family. I have also graduated from high school with an average of an A+ in portuguese and will be attending college shortly and will choose portuguese as one of my electives to better my experience with words that are no so common in the modern days of the portuguese language.

The thinking and learning processes were always intriguing to me. I am very inquisitive and cannot stop until I understand how things tick. However, patience and comprehension are certainly big parts of me as a person. This is why tutoring is a very fulfilling experience. Being part of how young and/or elder people improve not only their analytical and cognitive skills, but also their self esteem is so satisfying.
