My name is Alex and I'm going to graduate from the University of Miami in 2018. I find that the classes that I excel in are the ones I am most interested in, and the classes that I find myself less interested in, I make more interesting. I believe there is no way to retain information that is taught unless there is a general wanting to learn. My main goal is to improve a student's mind by finding ways that they can fall in love with a particular subject. I majored in Biochemistry and Pharmacology at the UNAM in Mexico City. Along with extensive coursework in Biology, Micro Biology, Chemistry, and related subjects, I also worked extensively in the lab conducting experiments connected with these subject areas. I can also tutor Spanish since it is my native language. I have great references from students I am currently working with.
