B-boy style by the mile!!!!

I have breakdancing since '98. I have competed and won many battles both alone and with my old breakdancing crew. I have taught an all ages class successfully for one year and a middle school class for another single year. I have done choreography and am very proficient in innovating and creating new moves. I can do: flips (front and back), power-moves i.e. windmills, flare, 1990's, 2000's, and more, and many different styles of footwork! I can also assist you with regular modern hip-hop moves as well.
My teaching style is definitely more of a facilitator/demonstrator style where I show and teach you the moves step by step then encourage you (the peer) to learn, search, and practice independently.

As an undergraduate student at the University of Washington, I pushed myself to excel academically. I received a BS in Biochemistry and a BA in dance, allowing me to grow into a well-rounded individual. My science training allowed me to develop critical thinking skills that I have been able to apply to everyday problems, and share with the students i tutored for three years. As a tutor, I helped other students gain a better grasp of microbiology, physiology, anatomy, biochemistry, and genetics, and hopefully inspired them to also aim for excellence in their studies.
