During my undergraduate work, I worked with other biology students to form a laboratory class for students from a private school which had no laboratory facilities. I possess excellent communication skills both written and oral. The first is writing extensive research papers and laboratory reports, and the second is due to extensive public speaking course work. I am a very motivating person and tend to use humor as a method of teaching. I teach to and with the child and never down to him/her. I break large components into their simplest forms so that a child learns to take things one step at a time and not feel overwhelmed. I make the learning relevant to what the child is interested in or knows about so that he/she can be more engaged in the learning process. We set the goal-a reasonable one yet with high expectations and together we achieve it.

I have earned a bachelors in Elementary Education and a Masters Degree in Education Management.
