A Little Bit About Me...

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I have endorsements in Science, Language Arts, and Social Science. I student taught 1st grade and spent the 2008-2009 school year as a Teaching Assistant for two Kindergarten classrooms. During my time as a student teacher and teaching assistant I have worked with students individually, small groups, and as a whole group. I have a lot of experience with teaching reading using phonemic awareness and whole language instruction. I have developed lessons and strategies to meet each student's abilities and to provide them with the skills and confidence needed to become successful readers. Students have different learning styles and I have a lot of resources to meet the needs of any student.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have a degree in elementary education with endorsements in reading and history. I also greatly enjoy teaching writing. I taught Pre-K for two years with a focus on reading, writing, and math. I was a nanny for a year for five and seven year old. I would assist with homework and practice reading skills. I currently am subbing in various classrooms and teaching general subjects from Kindergarten to Middle School. I have a passion for teaching and really enjoy helping children learn.
