Not everyone learns in the same manner, therefore in order for each child to meet his potential in the classroom, especially a child that struggles, a unique plan may have to be devised.

A Little Bit About Me...

While working with diverse deaf/hh and hearing students I have come to realize that every student is different. In realizing that, I know that no two students can be taught the same way. Two skills that I have developed and feel are crucial when working with students are patience and creativity.

My teaching style is predicated on the belief that children truly want to learn. I like to introduce the goal or goals for today. Ask a few questions regarding ysterdays assignment and see if the class will bridg the two by itself. I believe that a class os students wiling to learn need only slight direction each day. I always have a full lesson plan in tow, but i find the class rarely needs me to rely on it.
