I implement creativity, and ample amount of positive, fun energy into the way I teach. I believe the key to any child's learning is first instilling confidence into them. When a kid learns confidence, they begin to have the fuel needed to learn. As they grow in this confidence, they can begin to experiment in their learning and become creative in the skills they master.
I have tutored for Acers tutoring in Orlando for a full year. I have full experience with teaching reading and writing, as well as somer lower level algebra and mathematic skills. The kids have ranged from ages 8-14. As well, I have been giving guitar lessons to kids between the ages of 10-14. Each child is different. I always try to notice and acknowledge what benefits each student, as I think this applies to all forms of teaching from academics to athletics. Getting on their level is what ultimately benefits the child from the get go and gains their interest. If I'm interested, then the child is interested. I do my best to make sure the child is setting their goals and doing their best to achieve them in the way and style for which they are best suited.
I have two bachelors degrees, however, I believe it is my experience teaching children that has helped me develop a good sense on how to approaching teaching scenarios. I have years of experience teaching children in academics, music, and dramatic arts, as well as coaching basketball and teaching golf at the professional level.

A Little Bit About Me...

I love teaching and working with children. I believe for my experience that all kids can learn but in their own ways and time. This means that there are approximately three kinds of learning: visually (visual things help this kind of children to learn better like drawings or putting color to difference things), auditory (this ones like to learn having backgrounds of sounds. Literally all my life I have been asked by students, parents and teachers to help students who were having trouble. I get tremendous fulfillment from watching someone who has been frustrated finally "get it." In addition to teaching music lessons, tutoring all subjects, and homeschooling my own two children, I have worked for the last 17 years with a private school. There I have taught a wide variety of subjects, but they depend on me the most heavily for high school sciences and maths. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been teaching for seven years-mostly math and some language arts. The math teaching included geometry, algebra 1, algebra 2, basic high school math and middle school math. One year my students had the highest improvement in standardized math test scores in the district, for the lower level students. My student test scores have always been high so I retained the scores. I tutored psychology for two years in college for a Buffalo State College program called SEEK, and received many compliments from the students. In Rutherford County, TN, I worked with medically homebound students and found I was very good working with the disabled students. I am also fluent in the Spanish language.
