My goal in tutoring is to not only to have the child succeed in the course but to understand the concept of the course. I generally teach through visual aids and through very thorough explanations. If the student doesn't understand the first time I explain something, I will explain it in a different way and will keep explaining it in different ways until he/she fully understands what's being taught. I try my hardest to teach by explaining concepts logically and showing WHY and HOW, rather than simply saying something is what it is "just because."

Geometry is one of my top subjects!

I did my bachelor's in CIVIL Engineering in India.After my bachelor's I worked as an Assistant civil engineer for residential projects. During my bachelor's, I took mathematics classes for students in my community till tenth grade. I taught for around 20 students during the first two years of my bachelor's.
I have a habit of teaching the basic concepts thoroughly giving them examples and some new problems underlying the same concepts to solve on their own. I also used to conduct tests regularly. This will assess the student and also how much more effort the student has to put in learning the subject.

Physics and Mathematics Tutor

I gained my first tutoring experience by explaining difficult concepts to classmates that were struggling. I have been a tutor on WyzAnt for about half a year now. I have tutored math and physics students both at the high school and college level. All of the students that I worked with rated my lessons positively.
From my tutoring experience I have noticed that most students who have trouble understanding a difficult concept do so because they did not understand a more basic prerequisite concept, so I try to help students "fill in the gaps." My teaching style is based on reading then reviewing. At that point in time ask questions to see if the student has grasped the information being given. If not, answer questions then clarify. When reviewing information it is important to make sure the student knows reasoning behind subject matter so that they are understanding logic and not just memorizing information. In subjects that invloves math such as probability, chemistry, or statistics, I would do a few examples followed by letting the tutee working a few problems.
