Due to the fact that I was born and raised in Germany and have since lived in various foreign countries, I have adopted sensitivity when it comes to culture and characters. As a teacher I learned to be very observant before implementing a specific teaching strategy. Not only does every child have a different character, but they are all brought up in different surroundings and family constellations. Through my involvement in the Big Brother's Big Sister's program I learned that private family matters are directly related to acedemic success. I ask a lot of questions to get the students thinking. I believe in teaching young people and the adults I have worked with to think critically fist. Then I work with them on being able to articulate and write their ideas down...subject matter follows naturally if they have the confidence and can just think for themselves not just spit back facts and what others want to hear. I would travel and relocate for a job.
I have worn many hats and done many things that all apply to the classroom and teaching young people. I believe that education is the key to life and living. But a person has to believe they can do it first and I believe everyone can learn and should be given the opportunity

I have over 30 years of diverse accounting experience. Over this time I have been responsible for the timely preparation of financial statements, tax returns, bank reconciliations, and budgets. For the last 4 years I have been an Accredited Financial Examiner responsible for the financial examination of insurance companies for various state insurance departments.
