I can teach in any style that suits the student. I am flexible with whatever excels the students learning the most.
I have taught a large array of children and adults, anywhere from a 2nd grader struggling with reading to adult Burmese refugees. I have the patience and flexibility to successfully work with anyone. I started tutoring when I was around the age of 13. I taught a young Korean girl English, where I would have to create my own lesson plans. While I attended Okemos high school, I partook in volunteering experiences that dealt with tutoring. For two years, I was placed at an elementary school where I would tutor 1st-5th graders biweekly with anything from basic math to practice with reading. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a degree and a K-3rd teaching certificate with a reading endorsement in early childhood education from Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio. I also have a five year provisional teaching license for the state of Michigan certifying me to teach K-5th. I have been working in the field of childcare full time for the last five years. I have been the lead teacher of several infant care and education programs. Mostly I see to the minute to minute needs of numerous infants. Additionally, I create and implement lesson plans across a wide range of developmental areas and abilities.
