Teaching math is much different than doing math. Although I have a Bachlors in Mathamatics from Northern Illinois University, my training from The Pi Group in Singapore Math Instruction is really what sets me apart. The U.S. ranks 25th in the world for Math Education. Singapore is consistently first or 2nd. Students build a deep understanding through the use of muniplulatives and pictorial representations. When students think they are "bad at math", it is usually an issue of the instruction they are receiving. The various sciences are probably my best subjects, however my knowledge of Biology is fairly limited.
