A Little Bit About Me...

I have a strong desire to help children. Through teaching, I experience joy in displaying my knowledge and wisdom to them in helping them become better people in life. One area in which I display my knowledge is through mathematics. I enjoy the subject and feel that I can be very effective in teaching children.
I am an engineering professional with over four years of experience. My profession requires me to use several methods of mathematics, such as Calculus, Algebra, Trigonometry, and Differential Equations. These principles are essential towards completing an effective engineering project. I also have experience tutoring and teaching through volunteer work that I have done with programs such as N.G.W. Parenting Program, AWANA, and S.B.C. Summer Camp. I have also tutored children after school in several areas of math, such as Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonmetry.

As a volunteer for St. Joseph's Home for Boys and Upward Bound, I have gained experience working with elementry middle and high school students on a personal level. I feel that my ability to reach the minds of youth is great because I speak to them not at them. I encourage them as well to question my ability as a teacher and leader while exhibiting the highestly levels of respect and understanding for others thought patterns.
