While attending law school, I spent 2 full academic years tutoring first year law students. I tutored property and constitutional law. It was through tutoring that I was able to help several students improve their grades, both through emotional support and exceptional knowledge in the subjects. I enjoy learning new things and sharing that knowledge with others.
I believe that teaching through lecture and hands-on activities is the most effective. A student that is capable of "teaching" the teacher a lesson and explaining the subject in their own words will have a greater understanding of the subject. When I teach and tutor I explain to the student the topic in my words, and then continue to ask for feedback until the student is capable of explaining the lesson in their own words.

I have always been passionate about business and economics. As a young adult, I read every book about the subject that I could get my hands on! In college, I pursued a BS degree in Finance with a minor in Economics. I was the top student in my department and won a scholarship from Financial Executives International. A Little Bit About Me...

I love helping people who are learning in a field that I love. I chose to go into accounting while I was still in high school and I haven't had a regret yet.
