Throughout college I had extensive experience working with classmates while we solved math equations and physics problems together. I did volunteer work teaching English to children in Mexico as well as teaching English to college age students in Mexico. I like to first get an idea of what the student knows about the problem.. I find that the more time I spend listening to what they know it naturally turns into what pieces I need to add-in. I have learned that by observing students and getting to know them you can find the way they learn best. I believe in looking at problems from every angle. So teaching in several different ways to help the student understand the problem even better. I starting my first year of teaching Terreton Junior high and elementary. I was a special ed teacher there I taught kids from k-8 and I taught a special algebra class for 7th graders.
