A Little Bit About Me...

As a bilingual speaker and lover of languages, i was driven to help student to achieve their goal in learning a new language (i.e. English) and improving their mother tongue (i.e. French) while i was in France. I was and am still interested in what is behing a language, mostly its grammatical structure which is the basis on which to build a stronger and long lasting knowledge. I have had the pleasure and priviledge to help numerous students achieving their goals.
I try to build my teaching on a comprehensive study of the language through different aspects such as : grammar, spelling, text study, imagination both in speaking and writting. I teach by comparison (English vs French) which gives to each student the ability to better understand the structure of their own language thus easilly grasp a new one. I have received my BA in French Language and the education I received at Indiana University has been excellent. I am native to San Diego, but made the decision to study out-of-state due to the level of expertise in foreign languages at Indian University.
