I try to build my teaching on a comprehensive study of the language through different aspects such as : grammar, spelling, text study, imagination both in speaking and writting. I teach by comparison (English vs French) which gives to each student the ability to better understand the structure of their own language thus easilly grasp a new one. My master word is "communication".

I strongly believe that the only way to learn a language is to make it interesting for the student. Incorporate music, literature, art, and other aspect of the culture, not just overwhelm the student with excessive grammar and memorization techniques. This is how I learned the language. I incorporate different aspect of the French culture whether it is music, art, culture, film etc. This I find makes the learning process much easier and keeps a level of enthusiasm for the student. The learning experience should bring pride and excitement for the student,; this will result in the retention of information, as well as an increase in grade the maintaining a good grade.
