After graduating from Georgetown University in Washington D.C., I returned to Wyoming to work in politics and government. Teaching is the greatest job I have ever had. I have never felt more rewarded than when teaching a child or adult something new or explaining a concept to them that is difficult. As I think of my life without teaching, I cannot imagine what else I would be doing. I believe that children learn in a variety of ways. Some through listening, some through reading or watching, and some through doing. My goal is to find the way that works for each child and use that method to help them on their way to reaching their full potential. I graduated from the University of Wyoming within 3 1/2 years and student taught in first grade. Since then, I have been teaching in several preschool programs and spent part of one year as a long term substitute for a Title 1 program.
