A Little Bit About Me...

Eight years ago my nephew became part of the Arizona juvenile system. Having dealt with all that entails, I made the decision to make a difference in childrens lives. It is my belief that children need positive role models in their life beyond the mother and father. I was lucky to have such role models in my life and would like the opportunity to be one myself. I have laid back attitude, have raised two sons that have become two wonderful, respectful teenagers with a bright future in front of them. I have taught in a variety of educational institutions including; private schools, public schools, charter schools, boarding schools, tutoring, and group homes. I have built music programs from the ground up, as well as having taught a variety of ESL/ELD classes. I also have experience in teaching reading and writing and the middle school levels, and AIMS Science classes.
