I am a proud graduate of Iowa State University in Child, Adult, and Family Services with an emphasis on child development. With my education I have had experience researching child development in a hands on manner through the Iowa State's Child Development Lab, which ranges of children from birth to six years old. In the classroom, I have development an extensive understanding of the way children develop both mentally and physically, as well as effective ways to discipline children in a dignified manner. When most high school seniors were registering for classes, they had an easy agenda planned. My intentions were entirely different. I decided to challenge myself the final year and study more science coursework than was needed for me to sufficiently graduate. In addition, I was the kind of friend that was reliable in understanding course concepts, so most of my friends and some other peers were coming to me for help. In college, I continued to pursue my interest in business. Through out college I contributed to my church's youth group by helping in organizing and implementing their projects.
