I have a great love of teaching and guiding young people in their academic studies. My approach to teaching or tutoring is open and involves as much personal encouragement as I can. I am a teacher of great experience. Having taught in the private and public schools, I have been given opportunities to work with a variety of achievers - from handicapped to gifted. I have tutored in all academic subjects except higher high school and have an amount of expertise in the reading area. I have a B.S. in education from Union College in Barbourville, KY, and a M.A. as a reading specialist from Cumberland College in Williamsburg, KY.
