I am an Elementary Education Major at the University of Florida and have helped many students succeed in all subject areas, with a strong focus on Elementary Education. Some subjects that I particularly tutor in include: math, science, english, social studies, and language arts. I also supply a student with supplemental material I feel will help them learn better and at their own, individual pace. For instance, I believe that some students may learn better through visual exercises, and them others may learn through auditory (hearing) exercises. Either way, I try to figure out what a students learning style is and work on that with a student.

My teaching style involves a lot of examples and having the student answer the questions on the board. I am able to come up with examples off the top of my head and have the student work through the problem to prevent "dumb" mistakes (such as forgetting a minus sign). I am very patient and allow my students as much time as possible and encourage them to ask whenever they are stuck.
