I believe that when the basic concepts of math and science are mastered, the complex concepts become simple. These subjects also need to be taught using real life examples so that students can see the importance of learning them. Finally, I believe the worst thing that an instructor can do is to ask student to use and memorize equation that they don't understand. While practicing law, I taught several community education courses on legal subjects for Idaho Legal Aid. I also was a certified CPR instructor, but that certification has expired. I attended and completed the "Train the Trainors" course from the National District Attorney's Association and was chosen as one of four from 400 students to be a trainor at the next session.
