I am a Spanish teacher with 38 years of experience. I am retiring as of May 2015. I went to school at Miami University in Oxford, OH. I have a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Education. I hold a Master's Degree in Education, with a Spanish major, from Ball State. I am an experienced teacher and I love to work with people. I began my career at Richmond Senior High School in Richmond, IN, and finished it at the middle school level. I hold a teaching license for grades 5 - 12. I am only two courses away from completing my Spanish minor at Ball State University and have been taking Spanish classes for 9 years now. I could successfully help a second-year college level or lower. I am in my third year at Ball State University. I recently changed my major from Biology to Accounting; therefore, I have lots of knowledge in many different areas - some that aren't listed on my profile. I am experienced in categories ranging from Biology to Accounting to baking. Learning Spanish quickly will not happen from reading a book or watching a video, it must become of your daily interactions. Learning to read and write in Spanish will occur, but speaking the language conversationally is our desired goal. I have my masters degree in missions and evangelism from Asbury Seminary.
