My name is Kaitlyn. I am passionate about languages and cultures and therefore am enthusiastic about assisting others on their journey in learning to speak, read and write a foreign language. I can relate to the dedication and drive that is required while pursuing any language, as I have just recently graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. A Little Bit About Me...

I am extremely passionate about the education of our youth, and I believe that it is the foundation of a growing society. I have worked with children in urban high schools and juvenile facilities, and I have thus learned to appreciate the difference that a dedicated teacher can make in an environment that does not lend itself to learning and growth. In addition, I have worked with adults who did not have the opportunity to receive a quality education in their youth. Their willingness and excitement to learn was inspiring. I have had many experiences in education both during and after my college education. I have been put into many situations that have required using much of the curriculum content, classroom management, and lesson plan developing skills that I have acquired. I have a major in science, but I also have extensive mathematical skills due to the many math classes I have taken for my BS and while currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Accounting.
