My name is Kaitlyn. I am passionate about languages and cultures and therefore am enthusiastic about assisting others on their journey in learning to speak, read and write a foreign language. My comments on tutoring Spanish : Have taken Spanish 1-3 at High School Level

As a Graduate of Saginaw Valley State University, I have obtained a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry and Minors in Math and Biology. I have gained knowledge in most of the sub-sets on those subjects as well as High School or College entry level in most other academic subjects. I have tutored before as a volunteer, in paid sessions, and have often helped out friends at various educational levels.

A Little Bit About Me...

I recently received my Bachelors Degree from the University of Michigan, where I studied English and Spanish. I chose a rigorous course schedule which allowed me to greatly develop my writing, editing, proofreading, and critical thinking skills. During my sophomore year of college, I began to facilitate creative writing workshops with youth and adults. This included editing and correcting for grammar as well as content, and providing useful feedback to my students. I continued with this work throughout college, and even after graduating. I began my educational career at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. It was here that I learned to challenge myself and to help others. I was led to the field of education after many years of volunteering in schools, at church and as a mentor. I have earned a BA in Sociology and an MA in Elementary Education.
