A Little Bit About Me...

Bachelor's degree in Zoology, coursework included Genetics, Microbiology, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Mammalogy, Ornithology, Ecology, Physiology, Anatomy, Invertebrate and Vertebrate Zoology, Paleontology. Also spent 3 months in the Costa Rican rainforest, working with a conservation organization, mainly with sea turtles, but also monitoring primates, birds, and amphibians. Some reforestation work as well.

My comments on tutoring Physiology : I have taken over a year worth of upperlevel Physiology. I received high marks for courses taken.

I have tutored one-on-one as well as to large groups. My focus is on college level science classes. I feel that bringing creative and unique methods to learning helps student overcome their dispassion or fear. My sessions aim to be positive and motivating.
