I have taught for two years as an Earth Science teacher in the Rochester City School District. I was also a teaching assistant in a K-5 building in West Irondequoit (self-contained classrooms). I have been a substitute teacher/teaching assistant in the Penfield Central School District. I have also spent some time tutoring some students from Penfield in Earth Science. In college at Fredonia I tutored students in Geology and Geography.
I love to be around students who are eager to learn new things. I am currently a substitute teacher and work everyday in one of four school districts in the Rochester area. I enjoy helping and tutoring kids. I teach ESL to adults on Monday and Wednesday nights and that is very similar to tutoring. I believe tutoring is very rewarding as a teacher and for the student.
