I received a BS degree from UTC and taught at DuPont Elementary for 8 years, taught for PC training organizations & then managed a training program at Chattanooga State Technical Community College where I wrote all manuals, taught all classes, & designed all testing. The style of teaching I choose to use is based on the learning style of the student. I have been educated in the various styles of teaching and base my style on what best suits the student I am working with at the time. Most children learn from hand-on teaching, so that is a style I use most often. Working one-on-one with a student gives the tutor a chance to use various styles within the teaching efforts.
