I love children and I love teaching them. I believe in an individualized style of teaching that caters to a child's individual needs. Because I love teaching, I am a patient and caring teacher. Following my graduation from USM, I had many experiences teaching a variety of children from many cultures. Having taught in a DODDS school in Karlsruhe, Germany I was exposed to the German way of teaching. My first year of teaching was in an inner city school thar offered many challengs. I believe my experience teaching children from diverse backgrounds prepared me to handle any situation in the teaching environment.

I received my Certificate in Management, Associate of Arts degree, and Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Maryland College Park, Maryland while traveling and serving on active duty for my country. I am great at teaching youth and adults alike in getting the best education and setting goals. I am a graduate of the University of Southern MS, with a undergraduate in Business Marketing. I began teaching and tutoring in 2008-2009 school for Jackson Public Schools. I underwent the Alternative Route for teaching for ceritification. I am the Aaccelerated Reader Coordinator for Lee Elementary School. I also serve as Head Librarian for the school as well. Our school has implemented a plan in which Resource staff tutors daily. I tutor grades 3-5 in areas of Mathematics, Reading and Language Arts. In addition, I am exceptional with grammatical skills and love to write papers.
