Previously to becoming a teacher I worked in industry as a project manager or assistant for different companies, using Spanish occasionally. I worked with 5th graders during a Reading and Social Studies student teaching. I also taught first grade for 7 years. The first two years were in an At-Risk class and an Inclusion class.
