Don't tell me 2+2=4. Tell me WHY 2+2=4.

My teaching style differs with each child. One child does well learning by applying the material to real live situations Another does better with breaking it down and just memorizing facts I am very flexible and make an effort to find the best method to save both myself and the child time that would otherwise be wasted with an ineffective approach to learning.

None of my family had gone to college, so it was predicted I would not either. I had a hunger to learn, so I systematically worked full-time and studied part-time, earning eight major degrees in cities where they alowed residency rquirements to be met in such a way. I have a unique approach to teaching because my background is both analytical (numbers and science) and imaginative (theater and literature).
