I have worked with teenagers, young adults and older students returning to college. I work especially well with students who have a lack of confidence about their academic or intellectual abilities. May students have told me years after taking my courses that they would not have made it to graduation without my help. I also served as a drama director at one of my colleges and produced 4 highly successful full-length plays. I usually allow the person to come to me with questions and ask me what they are struggling on and help them from their or review the basic concepts and say them out loud to the person I am tutoring. I help students go through their books and synthesize material and help students write papers and come up with proper conclusions and introductions to his or her paper.
I tutored in my last semester of college at Westfield State University. I have taken 122 credits in psychology. My psychology G.P.A. average is 3.74 and my overall average is 3.551. I have helped students excel at college-level classes where some students were failing. I am part of the international honor society in psychology. I love helping other people. Although I only have a bachelor's degree, I have helped many students at college excel at their classes and achieve A's when they were struggling.

My comments on tutoring Poetry : Whether free verse, or ABAB or ABBA, i am a poet Wiz. I Started out writing lyrics for my band, and that grew into free verse, discovering new metaphors and similes, for each given situation

I have always been a hands on learner, so that is mostly the way i portray my lessons, by doing, instead of readin. However i also see the need in having to sit down and Get to work, because some thing are better learned on paper
