As an undergraduate, I worked with the America Reads Program, mentoring a first grade student with reading difficulties. We met three days a week for an entire school year and progressed through successive lesson plans. I currently work as a mentor and advisor, for Florida State Universities Advising first program. On a daily basis, I interact with first time college students who are undecided on their course of study.
