I like to use the hands on approach. I find out what the weaknesses are of my students and address the topics by giving a general review. I present a problem for them to work out. After a few minutes, I ask them what they think is the best way to approach the problem. In teaching, I find the key to unlocking the minds of the students is to find the appropriate analogy or metaphor.
