I can and have taught physics, math, (up to differential equations) and physical sciences. I have also been an ameteur astronomer for 40 years and can teach courses in this dicipline. My students would describe me as very patient. I listen to my students so that I can understand just what the roadblocks may be to their learning. I strive for each student to gain a full understanding of their course material and will try different approaches as necessary to reach this goal. This is not generally feasible in the traditional classroom setting and is what I consider to be the primary advantage to having a tutor, someone who can address your individual learning style.
