Probably my greatest gift that I've been given in this life is my love for people. I believe this love manifests itself through my teaching and makes me a unique educator. A Little Bit About Me...

I am really good with kids. What I excel at is relating info. I can tell when someone is struggling, and usually know how to rectify the situation. I really enjoyed when I was able to tutor in elementary. The kids that I worked with had real problems in Math. With all of the kids that I taught they learned quick, just not the way teachers taught. I had to come up with different methods to relate the subject to them.
In Elementary I tutored for about a year. I also worked at a youth camp for kids with add adhd drug issues and anger problems. I have my A.S. in business and am very good with Math. I have also helped my little siblings with homework.

I enjoy working with students who are elementary aged up through college aged. I particularly love working with middle school students. I am sensitive to student's individual needs and realize that everyone learns at their own pace and in their own way. When I tutor in mathematics, I try to help students develop conceptual understanding, not just procedural knowledge.
