I earned a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington, where I tutored for 2 years in the subjects of physics, calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, engineering mechanics and thermodynamics. In addition to my technical background, I studied English and liberal arts for 2 years and wrote fiction for my college magazine. I have earned a BS and an MS in Aerospace Engineering. My most recent coursework was focused on Aerospace Propulsion systems- work which relies heavily on my background in Math, Physics, and Chemistry. I have always been a teacher at heart. It was often to the detriment of my own homework completion rate, as I would be much more interested in both solving the problems and helping my classmates understand how it worked that I was concerned with getting the solution written down for myself.
